2020 Senior – Jacob Welch

Congratulations to Jacob Welch who graduated from Rehobeth High School this week!

Jacob, without a doubt, is one of the most polite young men I have ever met. There was never a time that I worked with him that he wasn’t full of “yes mams” or offering to help me with equipment.

In his spare time, Jacob enjoys hanging out with friends. Jacob played football for Rehobeth. He was also a member of the FFA and FBLA, but says playing football was his absolute favorite.

When asked how the pandemic had affected him in the midst of his senior year Jacob said, “I didn’t get to hang out with my friends and make as many memories as I wanted. I learned that stuff happens in life you just have to face it head on and make the best of it and to make the most of the time you have cause it could change or be gone tomorrow.” No doubt those are some wise words for us all.

Jacob will be attending the University of Alabama in the fall, where he plans on majoring in Electrical Engineering. Jacob, it was a joy to serve you! Praying God’s blessings upon you as you enter this next stage in your life!
